Hotel on the Corner of Bitter & Sweet is one of the sweetest, saddest, powerful novels that I have read in years! It follows the life Henry Lee in two different times in his life: his childhood and as a recent widower. He notices that a hotel in his old neighborhood is being renovated and has posted a public notice to clean out their storage room. Henry remembers something so very valuable to him in there, and goes to the hotel to find it. A great drama, a great romance, and a heartbreaking time in the history of the country during the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II. A great novel for all!
