The Lady Elizabeth

The Lady Elizabeth
By: Alison Weir

The Lady Elizabeth is historical fiction. Written by Alison Weir it chronciles the life of Elizabeth I from the age of three, at the time of the death of her Mother Anne Boleyn at the hands of her father to the time she became Queen of all England.

Ms Weir weaves a very readable story about a truly historic figure and sheds some light on events that helped shaped the lady Elizabeth into a great Queen.

This book is extremely readable and hard to put down as are all of Alison Weir's books. Elizabeth was truly a daughter of Henry VIII.

I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in history especially Tudor England. Even with minimal knowledge of Tudor England this book is fasinating and hard to put down.
