Detective Michael Bennett is a widower on vacation with his family of 10 adopted children, his grandfather and their nanny, when he gets a call about horrific crimes of infamous killers from New York City being recreated and the whole city is terrified. Being the best NY detective there is, Bennett has to get involved. His family is put in danger, he discovers feelings for a colleague and questions his relationship with the children's nanny. Patterson has created a believable character in Michael Bennett and I enjoy reading about him. Bennett is tough and gets the job done and everyone knows that will happen, once he is on the case. A wonderful and suspenseful read for anyone.
